She explores the porous boundaries and power dynamics among humans, nature and technology, while creating riveting and multisensory experiences. She received her B.A. in Anthropology and Art with distinction from Yale University, M.S. in Art, Culture and Technology from MIT, and is currently based in New York and Beijing. Through a multispecies lens, her research-based video works examine how human ambitions, technologies and geopolitics have shaped our planet and our future. Her paintings, surreal and suspenseful, intimately capture the tension and symbiosis between humans and nonhumans amid the climate crisis. Inspired by neuroscience and posthumanism, her brainwave interactive installations reimagine human agency in an era when our longings and emotions are predicted and affected by technologies.

Recent solo projects include: “MADLANDS”, LONG Museum, Shanghai, 2024; “Savage Confessions”, Goethe Institut, Boston, USA, 2022; “Gamma Garden” Screening, MIT Museum, Boston, USA, 2022; “Late Night Savage”, Cc Art Center, Shanghai, China, 2021; “Moon Milk”, MadeIn Gallery, Shanghai, China, 2020; “Moon Milk”, ART021, Shanghai Exhibition Center, Shanghai, China, 2019; “Glimpse”, Asia Now, Paris, France, 2019; “Glimpse: A Passing Look”, Sabsay Gallery, Copenhagen, Denmark, 2018; “Still”, Arts First Festival, Harvard University, Cambridge, USA, 2017; “Tree of Life”, performance, Yale University, New Haven, USA, 2015.

Selected group exhibitions include: “Urban Fluidity: Wuhan Biennale 2024”, Wuhan, China, 2024; “Time of Alloy—Porsche Young Chinese Artist of the Year”, Phillips Asia HQ, Hong Kong\u000b“50——90: The Tenth Anniversary of the Long Museum”, Long Museum, Shanghai, China, 2024; “Bordercrossing: Possibilities and Interactions”, YUZ Art Museum, Shanghai, 2023; “Magic Square: Art and Literature in Mirror Image”, Beijing Biennial “Symbiosis”, Friendship Art Community”, Beijing, China, 2022-23; “Words at an Exhibition”, Busan Biennale 2020, Busan, Korea, 2020; “Immaterial/Re-material”, UCCA Beijing, Beijing, China, 2020; “Digital Dreams”, Emerson College, Boston, USA, 2020; “The New Reality”, Porsche Young Chinese Artists of the year 2018-2019, TX Huaihai, Shanghai, China, 2020; “Asia Digital Art Exhibition”, Beijing Times Art Museum, Beijing, China, 2020; “Fortune Teller”, Wanying Art Museum, Shijiazhuang, China, 2020; “Loading……”, Art Power 100, Kuntaijiarui Center, Beijing, China, 2020; “The 2018-2019 Porsche ‘Young Chinese Artist of the Year’ Nominees Exhibition”, Beijing Exhibition Center, Beijing, China, 2019; “Enter”, Refshaleoen, Copenhagen, Denmark, 2019; “The Variable and The Generating”, MadeIn Gallery, Shanghai, China, 2019; “The 6th Guangzhou Triennial—As We May Think”, Feedforward, Guangdong Museum of Art, Guangzhou, China, 2018; “After Sunset”, Galerie Liusa Wang, Paris, France, 2018; “Heart of the Tin Man”, M Woods Museum, Beijing, China, 2017; “I Do (Not) Want To Be Part Of Your Celebration”, Qiao Space & Tank Project Space, Shanghai, China, 2017; “Art Utopia”, Ullens Center for Contemporary Art, Beijing, China, 2016; “Fantastic Art China”, Javits Convention Center, New York, USA, 2016.

[6
post-4250","artists","type-artists","status-publish","hentry","artists_categories-collaborating-artists
["GET
