Rooted in his interest in the intangibility of the human spirit and will, Lu Pingyuan’s practice has been concentrated on his writing of “stories” as a medium of art. These stories are enigmatic and spiritual, sometimes accompanied by fear. Partly authentic, partly fictional, they significantly broaden artworks’ state of existence in the real world and extend the inherent spirit of art itself.
