A commonly used instrument in artistic practices and exhibitions, the spirit level is enlarged and comes to dominate the viewer’s visual experience, which points the power of the image itself. When repeatedly portrayed, an everyday object loses its function and meaning, which are then replaced by the generation of symbols and a new contemporary vision.
